I am an absolute Wildfox obsessive and their new collection comprises of something
that has inspired myself and millions of others lives- Alicia Silverstone's CLUELESS.
It's all about the 1990's again and this tee from ASOS is at the top of my payday shopping list.
A few months ago I was given the chance to guest edit a music page for Company magazine's August edition. This basically consisted of me raving about my favourite new music, my home town- Birmingham and summer festivals I am jealously not attending.
What she says: @AZEALIABANKS "18 tracks long. 15 Azealia Banks originals and 3 remixes." "Fantasea is almost kind of a first album of sorts....but it happened by mistake.... It's weird." "I originally started this mixtape with the intention of letting go a ton of old ideas... like songs I started writing but never finished."
I'm getting a little bored by 'new music' and have been drumming around my old mix cds. I've found an all mighty collection of amazing tracks I'd forgotten about.
The first: Paris Is Burning- Ladyhawke.
"Give me your glass, it's your last, you're too wasted."
The whole Ladyhawke album (2008) is worth an additional 1,000 plays on my iPod, I forgot how much I love it and now I'm reminiscing my Summer of 2009.
So, I can finally respond to my 'Where are The xx post?' from a year ago see here. They have finally spoke out about their new album, 'Coexist.' The trio's second album, due for release 10.09.2012, will follow their return to the festival scene- with them playing Bestival 2012.
So exciting... Coexist is produced by Jamie xx (Jamie Smith of The xx) and they have said 'They're all love songs,' all ten of them, with a Jamie xx touch.
